I guess I created this to help remind me—when
I’m looking at a Squire Strat or Epiphone SG—that
I already have a pretty cool guitar.
The Spectrum does—I think—nicely combine the
styles of both the Strat & the SG. It’s not entirely
cosmetic, however. As an instrument, it also combines aspects
of both. e.g.
The Strat-style body contours
The SG-style humbucker pick-ups
The coil-tap for some Strat-style single-coil sounds
