Here can be found the results of my playing with KISEKAE, a flash applet for designing guitars.
Similar to a Telecaster Custom, but with the standard Tele pickguard and controls.
The idea is to combine cutting lead tones (e.g. the Stairway to Heaven solo) from the bridge pickup with thick rhythm tones from the neck humbucker.
I was going for a wine color. I’m not sure about the binding.
Similar to the Gibson Marauder, the G&L ASAT Classic Bluesboy, the Reverend Backshot, and the Eastwood JR Elite.
Just a straight Strat in “Surf Green” (or maybe “Surf Pearl”) with a pearloid pickguard.
Might consider Lace Sensor or Lace Alumitone pickups.
I found a five-position switching scheme for an HSH configuration that I am interested in. (I need to design a kisekae guitar for it.)
(If you browser doesn’t support SVG you won’t see my drawings here.)

Another interesting note: A strat with no tone knobs and one volume knob for each pickup!
